Alastair accidentally completed his undergradaute studies in engineering and pharmaceutical sciences. Even as a local, he still gets confused by the myriad of laneway bars and cafes and is yet to decide on his favourite one. He is open to suggestions.

He is putting his engineering skills to good use by undertaking a education-focussed PhD in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. His reasearch is looking into the area of critical thinking, specifically as students move from tertiary studies into industry work.

Personal interests

Alastair enjoys dabbling in digital games development and paying money to be locked in a room where he has to solve puzzles to get out again.
